Why I’m Running…

It’s time for change on the West Valley-Mission Community College Board and time for student-focused leadership that will support our educators and provide the best education for our community. For more than 48 years I have been in the classroom with students at our community colleges and San Jose State University. I served our community in the California Legislature and have been a champion for the Asian American community and our working families.

I want to continue my service to our families and utilize my experience to fight for our teachers, students, and ensuring Silicon Valley’s community colleges are the best in the nation.
